The 2010 NFL Season Starts Tomorrow!!

Calling all NFL fans: oh yes, the season is about to start. And Benjies Deli has all the action, thanks to the DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket package. Did you know that we can watch up to eight games on one of the six TVs we’ve got in the Bamboo Lounge? That every game will be in HD? That the Sunday Ticket gives us REDZONE, where every play from within the 20-yard line is highlighted and in HD? We can even get an update on your favorite players and get replays of all the NFL Sunday game highlights during the week! In a word, it’s awesome.

Tomorrow night kicks off with the New Orleans Saints vs. the Minnesota Vikings, down in the bayou. Although the Vikings have convinced Brett Favre to squeeze another season in, we’re not sure if it’s going to help them much. Between LeFavre’s ankle and Sidney Rice out on an injury, plus New Orleans being ticked off about not being hailed as candidates for the last SuperBowl, predictions are that New Orleans will win by as much as 10 points or more.

Now, we know that you can watch this game on NBC, but there are going to be games that you’ll only be able to watch on Sunday Ticket. But even if you can watch them at your house, who’s going to feed you a hot sandwich on rye piled high with layers of pastrami and cheese? Are you going to whip up a meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and smothered in gravy? Who’s going to build a Francheesy for you at home? How could you possibly have grilled knockwurst, crisp bacon and American cheese hanging around the house to put on a grilled onion roll? You want to miss the game to get your french fries out of the oven? We didn’t think so.

And what if you’ve got a bunch of friends with you? Order some buffalo hot wings, jalapeno poppers and Kobe beef sliders to snack on during the game. If you boys think you’re man enough, try the Deli Feast—an unbeatable selection of all of our deli favorites. You ready? It’s got hot corned beef, pastrami, turkey, tongue, salami and chopped liver, served with Swiss and American cheese, potato salad, coleslaw, tomatoes, sweet red onions, Greek olives, pickles and a stack of sliced rye bread to pile it all on. Making you thirsty? We’ve always got cold beer on tap or in bottles, plus a full bar for any kind of drink you fancy.

So don’t miss the NFL action at Benjies Deli. Come on down tomorrow night to kick off the season with the NFL kick off between the Vikings and the Saints. This season you can get your fill of bone-crushing football action and great authentic deli food all at the same place: Benjies Deli. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter!
