Under the category of fish, we have Nova lox, barbeque cod or whitefish served with sliced tomato, cream cheese, Greek olives and an onion bagel; creamed or pickled herring served with your choice of onions and sour cream or wine sauce and rye bread to sop up every drop; or go hardcore with gefilte fish served with julienne carrots, horseradish and Benjies’ soft rye bread. How can you choose between potato latkes or knishes? Two golden brown potato pancakes served with apple sauce or sour cream are a superb treat, and yet the meat or potato knishes in their baked pastry is hard to resist! Don’t miss the stuffed cabbage rolls in their traditional, tangy sweet and sour sauce; the chopped liver made just like mom used to, with grilled onions and hardboiled eggs; and the kishka plate with slices of grilled derma sausage and gravy.

Our smoked fish tray is a popular one for parties, especially around the holidays!

There is so much going on in November and December—Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas—and Benjies Deli can help you with it all. What about the NFL and Monday Night Football? We’ve got it covered. We can’t help break the NBA standoff between players and owners, as that seems impossible even for them to sort out! We miss you, Lakers…

But back to celebrating the season, whether that be family holidays or sports! Thanksgiving is coming up, and many people have family in town for the whole weekend. Now, if you’ve spent hours (or even days) preparing a humongous turkey dinner for 25 people, the last thing you want to do for the rest of the weekend is cook. And, let’s be honest, there’s only so much turkey that a human can eat. Call Benjies! Green Bay Packers kick off the season vs. New Orleans Saints!

Yes, it’s that time again—time for the bone-crushing gladiator battle that is NFL football. And Benjies Deli has all the action, thanks to the DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket package. Come watch the Angels play at Benjies Deli!
