The Most Important Meal of the Day

Everyone loves breakfast, but there never seems to be enough hours in the weekday to accomplish everything—let alone sit down in the morning for a nice balanced meal of pancakes and OJ. And at the end of the week, it’s just so luxurious to savor that extra five minutes of sleeping in on Saturday mornings rather than run to the local drive-thru for a hotcakes fix.

Sound familiar?  Luckily, Benjies Deli down in Santa Ana serves up a mean breakfast and they have delicious breakfast specials all week until 11AM. Everyone loves a nice stack of pancakes, and Benjies extends their pancake serving time on the weekends—until 1 PM to be exact.  Much of the breakfast menu is served all day! After a long week of eating tasteless and fibrous cereal bars during endless freeway commutes, isn’t it time everyone indulge in a real breakfast at Benjies?

Take their delicious Deli Omelet for example—a heaping plate of three fresh eggs mixed with corned beef and Benjies’ famous pastrami, all cooked to fluffy perfection.  And as if that weren’t enough, their breakfast entrees also come accompanied with generous side portions, your choice from home fried potatoes to buttery toast. It’s a meal fit for a king (or queen), and definitely makes up for all the days you miserably had to bypass breakfast.

Not feeling like breakfast food?  Don’t worry. The New York-style delicatessen has an extensive menu that boasts items from to-die-for pastrami sandwiches to smoked fish platters, and will surely have something that will please anyone’s taste buds.  If you’re in Orange County and hankering for some good food, Benjies Deli will not disappoint! It’s also a great place to come after temple or church with family and friends. Benjies Deli opens their doors at 8AM, so come early and enjoy the food.
